When a marriage or long-term relationship comes to an end, it often leaves an invisible handprint of pain on your heart. Having gone through intense and deep grief, facing emotional exhaustion and overwhelm after the sudden end of a 17-year marriage, I know how that can feel. From feeling reluctant to connect emotionally again, difficulty in finding a great relationship, wanting closeness but being terrified when it is offered, or feeling deep hurt that makes it hard to trust. 

My presentation looks at some of the problems that can accompany a wounded heart and some approaches to heal them including a taster of a gentle emotional release. At the end of the session, you will understand: 

• Why compassion, love and empathy are uniquely human and why am I your guide

• The differences between the logical left and creative right brain

• The unconscious emotional history which passes through generations

• What heart intelligence is and why it empowers you
